While his humor will never be forgotten, the love he shared with his students, friends and family was ultimately his greatest gift to the world. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosella Zechella and his father, Stanley Jerome Lewin, Sr, and mother-in-law, Rosella Shumaker Hollingsworth. He is survived by his wife, Mollie Shumaker Lewin, his children Ben (Kristina) Lewin and Jennie Lewin (Ben Romberg), his granddaughter, Maisy Lewin, and sister-in-law Nancy Pallan (Tom). His family wishes to thank all those who assisted in his care, especially Lexie Biederman, who supported him during the last several months and moments of his life. A graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery on Friday, March 16th at 1:00pm.
