Funeral services for Mrs. Linnie K. Garrett, age 66, of Rickman will be conducted 11 a.m., Saturday, March 17, 2018 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Denton Hummel will officiate. Burial will be in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. The family will welcome friends on Friday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. Mrs. Garrett passed from this life on Thursday morning, March 15, 2018 in the comfort of her home. She was born in Overton County on February 14, 1952 to the late C.B. & Lucy Eldridge Ray. Linnie was a member of the Union Hill Church. She loved her family and grandchildren very much and cherished every moment she had with them. She enjoyed going to church and listening to her Bible on CD's. She is survived by her loving husband, Danny Garrett; son, Christopher Dial & wife Bridgette; step-son, Kelvin Garrett & wife Lucinda; grandchildren, Jared Garrett, Garrett Dial & Chloe Dial; brothers, B.D. Ray & Jack Ray; sisters, Izell Johnson, Rosezelle Barnes, Mazelle Painter & Anna Zelle Johnson.
