Karl F. Horlander, 54, of Indianapolis, passed away March 14, 2018. He was born September 29, 1963 in Cincinnati, OH to Frank J. and Helen (Magruder) Horlander.
Karl is survived by his wife, Amy; children, Thomas, Lucy, Clem, Mary, Julia George, Finnian, Alison, and Matthieu; mother, Helen Horlander; brothers, Tom(Justine) Horlander of Indianapolis, and Jim(Becky) Horlander of Kansas City, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank J. Horlander, and son, Andrew.
Karl was a patent attorney and electrical engineer. He enjoyed wine/beer making and was an avid gardening. He was a youth soccer coach in Zionsville. Karl was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 2-6 PM at Leppert Mortuary - Nora Chapel, 740 E. 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 11:30 AM at St. Luke Catholic Church, 7575 Holliday Dr. East, Indianapolis, IN. Burial to follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
