. Eldon also attended as many of his grandchildren's activities as he could, even though his vision and hearing progressively worsened as time went on. Eldon was a laid back, down to earth man who was well liked by everyone. Friends and family called him "Ole". Eldon loved animals, and "had a way" with just about any animal, whether it was a large dairy cow, a stubborn pig, or a domestic pet. Eldon's faith was very important to him. He regularly watched Sunday morning services of John Hagee Ministries, as well as other religious programming. Eldon also watched CNN to keep up with current affairs. They didn't travel much over the years, but did take an occasional short trip to Branson, MO. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jeri; children, Darrell (Rose) Isaacson of Mason City, Darwin (Darlene) Isaacson of Lacrosse, WI, Rhonda Isaacson of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Matthew (Katy) Isaacson of Scottsdale, AZ, Meghan (Joe) Foster of Neenah, WI, David Isaacson of Lacrosse, WI, Tyler (Jess) Isaacson of Las Vegas, Lindsey Isaacson of Mason City; great-grandchildren, Brynley, Weston, Lincoln, Maelie; sister, Sylvia Purdue of Estherville; sister-in-law, Zoe Isaacson, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceding him in death are his parents; sister, Fern (Alan) Looft; brother, Kenneth (Marie) Isaacson; brother-in-law, Deward Purdue, and grandson, Ryan Isaacson.
