Gwynette Delores Deibler, 83, of Cedar Falls, IA formerly of Waterloo, IA and Wichita, KS, died at Pinnacle Specialty Care, Cedar Falls on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 of kidney failure. She was born July 21, 1934 in Waterloo, the daughter of Owen and Greta Hall Hughes. She graduated from East Waterloo High School in 1952. Gwen married Keith Deibler on April 11, 1959 at St. Paul's United Methodist, Waterloo. He died November 28, 2015. She retired as a computer operator at Dillon's Grocery Store in Wichita. Gwen was a member of Goddard United Methodist Church, Goddard, KS, and was active working with commodity foods, meals for the homeless, the food bank, school back packs and Open Door Klothes Closet; and with her husband, volunteered at Park West Assisted Living driving residents to appointments and shopping. Most recently she was a member of Orchard Hill Church, Cedar Falls.
