RAYMOND MARLOW
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Raymond F. Marlow, 88, of Muscatine, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at his home.
There will be no services or visitation. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Raymond was born on December 17, 1929, in Kewanee, Illinois, the son of Henry and Ida Burt Marlow. He married Patricia Hintermeister on September 18, 1970, in Rantoul, Illinois.
He was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict at Pork Chop Hill in 1953. He received both the Silver Star and the Purple Heart awards.
He was a Ford mechanic at Erv Peters in Rock Island, Illinois and retired from Krieger Motors/M&M Ford in Muscatine. He enjoyed bowling and traveling with his wife. He was a connoisseur of good food and enjoyed eating at good restaurants.
