apids and Mary (Dan) Gillette-Hoffman of Burlington; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce (Martin) Bruene of Gladbrook and Clarissa Waltman of Portland, Oregon; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters. Friends may call from noon until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 21st, in Lunning Chapel where the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. The funeral service for Mr. Gillette will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 22nd, in Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Kirk Bennett officiating. The Hamilton-Walters Marine Corps League will conduct military rites. The committal service will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 22nd, at Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois. Memorials have been established for West Avenue Baptist Church and Hamilton-Walters Marine Corps League.
