greatest enjoyment Betty had was talking to her brother Murray almost every day. She was active in the United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, Bridge Club, and various Women's Groups. Betty unselfishly loved and cared for her family, she was always ready to help anyone in need and devoted her life to helping others. In 2011 Betty and Walter moved to The Meadows in Clarion, IA. Betty had a massive stroke on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, and passed on March 30, 2018, Good Friday, with her entire family by her side. She is survived by her husband, Walter; sons, Dennis (Diane Reed) Martin and Tom (Candice) Martin; grandchildren, Jessica (John) McCulley, Derek Palmertree, Jacob (Jenna) Martin, Michael Martin, Benjamin Martin, Lindsey Williams, Haley Martin, and Elizabeth Martin; great-grandchildren, Eric McCulley and Alex McCulley; brother, James Murray (Bobbie) Anderson; sister in-law, Margaret Lubbert, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
