RONALD HILLMAN MUSCATINE, Iowa - Ronald L. Hillman, 74, of Muscatine, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018, at his home. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018, at Shirley Brothers Mortuaries & Crematories, 9606 E Washington St, Indianapolis, Indiana. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018, at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements. Ronald was born on August 13, 1943, in Brooklyn, Indiana, the son of Frank and Christine Hillman. He married Jeanette Hall on July 16, 1966 at Gallatin, Tennessee. He had been a truck driver for Bandag and later worked for Roadway. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 371 in Rock Island. He enjoyed auctions, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren working in his garage. Ron is survived by his wife, Jeanette Hillman, of Muscatine; his children, Patience Holem, of Muscatine, Pamela Nealy and husband Jack, Richie Hillman and wife Sarah and Ryan Hillman and wife Angela; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. ...[more]
