Rose was also involved in many religious and civic activities. She was a Eucharistic Minister, a 4-H leader, a library volunteer and an active participant in Helping Hands Food Pantry of St. Charles Borromeo Church in Gardiner, New York.
Rose is survived by her sister, Concetta Capozzi, with whom she resided for over 94 years; her sister-in-law Edna Capozzi; and her nieces and nephews, Mary Jane Klein (Lou), Lawrence Capozzi, Susan Capozzi-Vazquez (Roberto), Mary Capozzi Peace, Tobia Capozzi (Holly) and Michael Capozzi (Karen) and many grandnieces, grandnephews and their children.
In addition to her parents, Rose was predeceased by her brothers Lawrence Capozzi, Angelo Capozzi and Michael Capozzi and her sisters Antoinette Capozzi and Louise Capozzi.
Rose's primary commitment was to her family, by whom she was adored. She was considered their matriarch. Rose was always open minded, religious and committed in the truest sense of the word.
