Alvaro Guerra
Alvaro Guerra, 71, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, February 22, 2018 in McAllen, Texas surrounded by his loving family.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Octavio Guerra and Maria Virginia Fuentes, and a brother Nicasio Guerra.
Survivors include his spouse: Concepcion Guerra; son: Ricardo (Alejandrina) Guerra; daughters: Marlene (Juan) Guerra and Carolina (David) Guerra; Siblings: Onecimo, Jorge, Carmela, Bertha, Sylvia, and Laura Julia Guerra.
Visitation were held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 and Sunday, February 25, 2018 from: 2:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Guerra Funeral Home 'Chapel of Angels'.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa, TX.
Internment was followed at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission, TX.
Funeral arrangements were placed under the care and trust of Guerra Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
