HURST - Lola Jolene Adams went to be with her Lord on Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018.
Jolene was born May 18, 1924 in Odell. She graduated from Odell High School in 1941 and married her high school sweetheart, Harvey Dale Adams, in 1941 with whom she had two boys, Dan and Kelly Adams. Following Dale's untimely passing in 1962, Jolene went on to finish her bachelor's degree at Texas Wesleyan College, gained her real estate license and operated multiple beauty salons around the DFW metroplex. She eventually retired from Sally Beauty Supply at age 83.
Jolene was a devout Christian and woman of God, who served her family and community unconditionally. Never one to have idle hands, Jolene kept an immaculate yard and garden, enjoyed quilting and refinishing furniture. She was the happiest sitting around the table with her family for Sunday lunch.

Jolene was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Thelma Bingham; her brother, Kenneth Bingham; and her husband, Harvey Dale Adams.
Survivors: Her son, Kelly Adams and wife, Anne; son, Dan Adams and wife, Leigh Ann; grandchildren, Lindsey, Jody, Megan, Dalene, Regan and Courtney; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Hayden, Makenna, Noah, Clayton, Caroline, Dustin, Jesse, Andrew and Robert; and countless cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
