nd woodworking. He enjoyed camping and traveling. Mr. Paynter is survived by his wife, Belva Irene (nee: Hubbs) Paynter to whom he was married on July 22, 1946, his sons, George E. Paynter of Amherst, Ohio, Larry A. Paynter of Cameron and Mack H. Paynter III of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, his daughter, Janet Marie Knight of Flushing with whom he and his wife made their home, sisters, Hilda J. Cravener of Minnesota and Patsy Swegard of Lorain, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Friends will be received on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 5 PM until 8 PM in the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, 700 West Erie Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 11 AM with Pastor Jay Roller officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, Ohio with full military honors by V. F. W., Post 1079.
