Nancy Sue Cooper, 71, Muncie, passed away Wednesday morning, April 4, 2018, at home with family with her.
She was born Thursday, June 27, 1946, in Jamestown, Tennessee, the daughter of Jack and Gladys (Whited) Turner. Nancy Sue enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved spending time with her family, enjoyed cooking, especially fried chicken, and she loved to play Bingo.
Survivors include her husband, Allen Cooper; sons, Ronnie Cooper and Sammie Cooper; brother, Ernest Beaty; sisters, Pearl Thompson and Ruby (husband Rick) Phillips; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Jack Turner; her mom, Gladys Turner Beaty; three sons, David Turner, Rickie Turner, and James Carlin; two brothers, Boyd Whited and Tommy Turner; three sisters, Margaret Beaty, Jessie Beaty, and Judy Beaty.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018, at True Light Baptist Church, 805 North Country Club Road, Muncie, Indiana 47303 with Pastor Dennis Trimble officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
