Life of Eugene Choy
Early Life:
Born in Isleton, CA as the oldest son of Yuk Po Choy and Wai Joe Lee (Jeanie) as a fraternal twin with sister Eugenia. Both parents were immigrants from China with very little formal education. Other siblings were Kim, Melvin, Phyllis, Priscilla and Bonnie.
Education and Work:
Went to the University of Reno Nevada for his Bachelors of Science, Northwestern University Dental School for his DDS and University of Washington for his MSD. Eugene loved his work and found great fulfillment in changing lives with cosmetic dentistry.
Retirement and Hobbies:
A book always in hand, Eugene loved to learn about everything and anything. He listened constantly to sports and loved to follow his many Washington teams. Throughout life he took photos of everyone and every event. He also loved to fish and took up glass blowing for many years. In his retirement years he loved to walk and work at the bike shop restoring bikes for underprivileged kids.
