he world. Isabel believed strongly in being engaged in her community. During the nearly 70 years she lived in Rochester, she donated her time and talent to countless non-profit and community organizations which included the American Red Cross, Olmsted County Community Corrections, BSA Gamehaven Council, First Presbyterian Church, Junior Great Books, and numerous PTAs. She was on the board of Norwest Bank, Charter House and the Methodist Hospital and served terms as President of the Rochester YWCA, Rochester Area Foundation Board of Trustees, and the United Way. She will best be remembered by those who knew her for her tremendous energy, infectious laugh, generosity of spirit, untiring graciousness and love of marshmallow Peeps. She was preceded in death by her brother Donald Clerk, her parents, Charles and Marion Clerk, and her husband Kenneth Huizenga. Survived by her sister-in-law Ruth Huizenga; children Debbie, Nancy (Joe Korzilius), Donald, Charlie (Jeanne Panek) and Hugh (Vicky Fish); nine grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; and her beloved cousins in Scotland.
