Anthony Santory Jr passed away on April 9th at the age of 85 - he was a proud Puerto Rican American and Disabled Veteran.
Anthony was born and raised in the Washington Heights area of NYC, New York.
Growing up he played stickball in the streets and in 1949 left NY to serve his country as a Army Paratrooper in Korea, where he lost lost his right hand.
His friendships in NY carried on even after his move to Florida in 1958.
Anthony enjoyed Carpentry, Ballroom and Latin Dancing. He was an active member of the Old Timers Stickball League and loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his only daughter; Briana & son in-law; Michael .
An intimate family service will be held in his honor on Saturday; April 14th 1-3pm at Fred Hunters Funeral Home in Hollywood; Fl.
Immediately following the family will host a; Celebration of his LIFE at the Century Village Clubhouse, 13300 SW 10th Street, Room 120, Pembroke Pines Fl 33027
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Disabled American Veterans Association.
