n, creating beautiful cross stitch pieces and taking up watercolor painting in her late 70's. The family belonged to St. Mary's Parish from 1953 until Ray's death in 2001 when Helen moved to Middleton. Helen was also know for her volunteer activities, starting at her parish in Antigo. She was a Girl Scout leader and past president of the Parent Teacher Association. She joined and worked with the Leland-Tollefson Post 2653 Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Antigo for many years and has served as a term president. She was also a member of the Sparks-Doernenburg American Legion Post #3, Auxiliary also in Antigo. When she moved to Middleton, she served with the American Red Cross. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. David Schmidt officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday at the Bradley Funeral Home and 10 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
