Walter L. Weber 89, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018.
Walter was born to Jacob and Lydia (Schissler) Weber in Plattevalle, Colorado on October 8, 1928.
He attended schools in the Fort Lupton area after school he then joined the U.S. Navy. In which he proudly served during the Korean War as a baker from 1950-1954.
Upon his return obtained employment at Sunstrand. He married Carolyn (Andersen) on November 10, 1956 in Brighton, Colorado. They were married 61 years and raised two children Terry and Donna.
Walt was very active in the American Legion and VFW posts. He loved fishing, traveling, cooking, bowling, polka dancing and spending time with family.
Walt is survived by his wife Carolyn, son Terry (Priscilla) Weber of Fort Lupton and daughter Donna Fisher of Broomfield. Six grandchildren Jeffrey Fisher, Nick Fisher, Tony Weber, Jarrod Weber, Samantha Valo and Jacqueline Weber and many great grand children. Siblings Dorothy Fry of Brighton, Jack Weber of Fort Lupton and Mary Ann Haberkon of Erie.

Services will be Tuesday, April 17 at 11:00 a.m.at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton, Colorado, with dinner following at the American Legion in Fort Lupton.
Walts final resting place will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 1:15 p.m..
