Funeral services for Mr. Vernon L. Boswell, age 93, of the Allred Community of Overton County will be conducted 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from the chapel of the Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Benny Sells will officiate. Burial will be in the Falling Springs Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Tuesday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. at the Livingston Funeral Home. Mr. Boswell passed from this life on Monday morning, April 16, 2018 from the Overton County Health & Rehab. He was born in Overton County on July 31, 1924 to the late Lloyd & Mary Lou Bilbrey Boswell. Vernon worked in road construction for the state highway department for many years. Vernon loved his family and spending time with them. He enjoyed living off the land, farming, coon hunting and whittling. He enjoyed Bluegrass & Gospel Music.
