Donald Dean Harpole, 82, of Fort Collins, Colorado, a humble and generous man, passed away on Wednesday April 11, 2018 at his home surrounded by loved ones.
He was born on April 26, 1935 to Mike and Ann Harpole in Mineral City, Missouri.
He graduated from Windsor High School in 1953. For two years, he attended CSU in Fort Collins. In 1955 Don joined the Air Force and served his country for 6 years. When he returned he worked for the "corporation" NCG for 7 years. He also worked in real estate for 14 years and owned his own car wash/ auto detailing business in Greeley for 21 years where he serviced everyone with his no-nonsense attitude and military quality of excellence.
In December 1955 he married Dorothy Keiser of Windsor. They had two children, all of whom preceded him in death.
He is survived by "his boys" Jim and Tim Humphrey; his sister; brother-in-law; and many close friends. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Grandview Cemetery in Fort Collins, Colorado.
