The American Legion Post 150 will conduct their ritual at 7:00 PM
The VFW Post 1386 will conduct their ritual at 7:30 PM
A funeral procession will form Saturday 10:15 AM at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:15 AM at St. Joseph's Church Kingston.
Burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
George Francis "Bud" McArdle, of Sawkill Road died peacefully Tuesday April 17, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born February 2, 1927 in Kingston he is the son of the late George F. and Mary T. (Leippert) McArdle.

George served our country in the United States Navy during World War II. George retired a Senior Buyer of the Purchasing Department at the IBM Kingston Plant, managing the Reservations Department. He was Vice President and member of the IBM Quarter Century Club. After retirement from IBM; he worked for twenty eight years in the Ulster County Court System as a Court Attendant.
Active in civil affairs; he was a past member of the Kingston City Common Council and as the Chairman of the Traffic Control Committee; where he was instrumental in the installation of the existing "One Way System" in Uptown Kingston. In addition to the IBM Quarter Century Club; Bud held offices as Past President of the Twaalfskill Hose Co. and Co-Chairman of the House Committee at Twaalfskill Golf Club, where he presently is a member. He is also a member of The Veterans of Foreign Wars, The American Legion, and the Ancient Order of Hibernians, with whom he was named Mayor of the Day.
Bud managed and coached baseball in the Jacee League, Babe Ruth League and Senior League. He played in the City League and was inducted into the local Baseball Hall of Fame in 1993.
Surviving is his wife Mary Jane (McSpirit) McArdle, daughter; Tammy VanWagenen and her husband Raymond, son; Timothy McArdle, five grandchildren; Coleman, Max, Magdalyn VanWagenen and Grace and Gavin McArdle, two sisters; Julia Letus and Bud's best friend George Letus, and Delores Witkowski. He is "Uncle Bud" to his many nieces and nephews.
Six sisters; Mary Abrosino, Rita Petramale, Eileen Hendricks, Dorothy Sass and Agnes Cermak and Elizabeth "Betty" Jordan died previously.
