In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a great-grandson, Xzavier Woessner. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife of 39 years, Elaine Hamilton of Lynchburg; step-son, Jeffrey (Susan) Sanders of Charlotte, MI; step-daughter, Diane Sorgenfrei of Lynchburg; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Harry) Woessner of Harvest, Al; Joshua (Katelyn) Eckert of Lynchburg, TN, Corey (Kayla) Sanders of Charlotte, MI, Tracy Sorgenfrei of Charleston, SC; great-grandchildren, Austin and Dillon Eckert and Wyatt and Harper Sanders.
