DENNIS MORSE MT. PLEASANT, Iowa - Dennis L. Morse, 62, a former resident of Muscatine, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at the Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant. A celebration of life service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Calvary Church. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Muscatine Humane Shelter. Dennis was born on July 30, 1955, in Muscatine, the son of Donald and Dorothy Herlein Morse. He was a graduate of Muscatine High School, class of 1973. He married Kim D. McElroy on April 25, 1981, in Muscatine. He had worked at HON and Monsanto while he lived in Muscatine. He was a member of the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed bowling and gambling with his wife. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and watching NASCAR and the Hawkeyes. He was an animal lover and will be missed by his dog, Cooper. Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Kim Morse of Mt.
