Arlene Ann Erusha, 90, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, April 20, 2018. Services: 10 a.m., Saturday, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church by Rev. Mark Ressler. Burial: St. John Cemetery. A Vigil Service will be held at 4 p.m., Friday at the church where friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m.
Arlene is survived by her seven children: Gail (Russ) Scott, Cambridge, IA; Dr. James (Denise) Erusha, Cedar Rapids; Vicky (John) Garnsey, Vail, CO; Bruce (Lorrie) Erusha, Cedar Rapids; Dr. Kimberly (John Kunnert) Erusha, Basking Ridge, NJ; Robert II (Ann) Erusha, St. Louis, MO; Amy (Steve) Cox, Doylestown, PA; sixteen grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, of 62 years, her sister Edna Banse, and infant brother Robert.
Arlene was born August 25, 1927 in Amana, the daughter of Andrew and Lenora (Votroubek) Svoboda. She was a graduate of Mt. Mercy College. On August 5, 1947, she married Robert C. Erusha in Walford. They were residents of Walford until moving to Cedar Rapids in 1993 and were members of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.

all sports and especially loved supporting Xavier High School and Iowa State University.
She was a dignified woman, devoted to family, who fully shared her life with grace and a strong Catholic faith.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to Xavier High School, Mt. Mercy University, and the National Czech and Slovak Museum and Library.
