Janet Carol Mace

Janet Carol Mace, 82, Muncie, passed away Sunday evening, April, 22, 2018, at The Woodlands. She was born Thursday, February 6, 1936, in Dunbar, West Virginia, the daughter of Charles A. and Bernedis (Adams) Hertzog. Janet volunteered as the "Activity Director" at Parkview Nursing Home. She enjoyed feeding and watching the birds and loved playing cards. Janet loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed a family meal at her house every Thursday evening. Survivors include her son, Chris (wife Sheila) Mace; daughter, Robin (husband Don) Perry; sister, Jean Balle; sister-in-law, Lenora Rix; brother-in-law, Troy Mace; four grandsons, Adam (wife Joy) Perry, Justin (fiancé Stephenie) Perry, Zachary (girlfriend Brandy) Mace, and Caleb (wife Taylor) Mace; three great-granddaughters, Faith Perry, Hope Perry, and Grace Perry; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Eugene Mace, who passed away in 2002; brother, James Hertzog; and a great-grandson, Daniel Eugene Perry.
