Jack R. Davis, age 55, of Lanoka Harbor, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Hackensack University Medical Center.
Born in Summit, New Jersey, Jack relocated to the Toms River area at age 9 and for the past 22 years, has resided in Lacey Township. He was a truck driver for Waste Management, retiring after 35 years in 2016, and a proud member of the Teamsters Union Local 945. Jack was an avid and passionate Pittsburgh Steelers fan as well as Pittsburgh Penguins, Yankees and NASCAR. He enjoyed motorcycles and spending time with his family and friends.
Jack is survived by his wife Sandra Davis; daughters Madison and Nicole Davis; his mother-in- law Sybil Mordecai; Sister and brother-in-law Joanne and Sal Bassi of Whiting; Susan and George Marshall of Pennsylvania; his nieces and nephew Victoria Saveriano, Richie, Marty, Sarah Monkhouse and Jamie Marshall; his chosen brother and best friend Henry Lang of Forked River and many, many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 6PM to 9PM at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. Cremation is private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.[more]
