It is with great sadness that the family of William "Rick" Hites, 68, of Miami, FL, announces his passing on May 1, 2018.
Rick was born in Youngstown, Ohio on March 17, 1950. He graduated from Christopher Columbus High School
Rick will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend for over 39 years, Sandy.
Rick worked as a tow truck driver for over 30 years before beginning his semi-retirement. He continued working as a Front Service Clerk for Publix for the past 11 years. He enjoyed bowling, baseball, and Nascar, but what brought him the most joy were his grandchildren and family.
Rick touched the lives of his many customers as well as those in the bowling community, which he participated in for over 40 years. He will be sorely missed by everyone that knew him.
Rick, Husband, Father, and Grandfather, is survived by wife Sandy, son Ricky, daughter in law Janina, and grandchildren Mason, and Madison Hites.
Visitation will be held at 5PM-10PM on May 8, 2018, at Fred Hunter Funeral Home in Hollywood, FL; with services being held at 7PM.
