grade. He was a member of the Middle School band as a percussionist.
Karson loved the outdoors. Since the moment his dad taught him to fish, he wanted to be on the water. Karson's grandma and grandpa were very special to him, he was always looking forward to what goodies grandpa had brought for their next fishing trip. He found enjoyment in biking, swimming, camping, playing in the fire, rollerblading and riding the rip stick - a skill he picked up in no time. When the opportunity presented itself, Karson loved to ride four wheelers and go karts - the faster the better. His family remembers him most for his huge heart. Karson was constantly helping others, and would do anything in his power to make someone's day brighter. He had an intuitive mind and could fix just about anything that was broken.
As Karson cared and gave in life, he did so too in his passing. Karson was an Organ Donor through the Iowa Donor Network.
Karson's family would like to sincerely thank the officials that rushed to their aide in the time of need: the Nora Springs Police Department, Nora Springs Fire Department, Mason City Ambulance Crew, Floyd County Sheriff, as well as Chuck who was the first to the scene. Your rapid response and care at the most difficult time was appreciated.
