joyed traveling all over the United States in their motor home. They spent a lot of time camping and fishing, which they both loved dearly. Cheryl was an ideal partner and enjoyed the outdoors as much as Don did. Both were workers willing to drop whatever they were doing and come assist their loved ones with whatever jobs needed to be completed. Cheryl will always be remembered for her generous, selfless nature. She did not have children of her own, but she treated her nieces and nephews like her own, never asking for anything in return. She was the most loving and kind aunt the kids could have. Above all, Cheryl was a true Child of God. She was a faithful member of The First Christian Church in Wood River, Illinois. Knowing that she was a believer, brings her loved ones the greatest joy and comfort. Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Cletis and Anna Clark, her husband, Don Way, and her nephew Michael Clark. She is survived by her brothers, Randy R. Clark and his wife, Virginia, and Larry Clark, both of Roxana, Illinois, step-children, Don Jr. and Larry Way, two step-grandchildren, numerous nephews, and nieces. A memorial service in Cheryl's honor will be held Monday, June 11, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church of Wood River, IL, 160 E. Lorena Ave., Wood River, IL.
