a member of the Prairie City Christian Reformed Church, where she was involved with the Helping Hands Society and also the church library. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, crocheting, knitting and quilting. Those left to honor her memory include her two children, Larry VanDerHart of Monroe and Elaine (Verlan) Struik of Leighton; seven grandchildren, Brian (Jen) VanDerHart, Brad (Jenny) VanDerHart, Greg (Sarah) VanDerHart, Kyle (Courtney) VanDerHart, Jeff (Ashley) Struik, Joel Ara Hatfield) Struik, and Andrea (Ekow) Addo; and 17 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers and sisters-in-law, Evelyn Van Dusseldorp, Doyle (Opal) VanDerHart, and Francis (Joyce) VanDerHart. Preceding Freda in death were her parents; husband in 2013; a daughter-in-law, Wilma VanDerHart, Father and mother-in-law, Walter and Ruth VanDerHart; step mother-in-law, Leola VanDerHart; her siblings, Cornie (Florence) Tukker, Marie (John) Davis, Angeline (Henry) Ryke, Gertrude (John) Weyers, Elmer (Cornelia) Tukker, Elizabeth (Fay) Wagner and Kathy (Don) Holt; and brothers-in-law, Francis Van Dusseldorp and Donald and Marie VanDerHart.
