Harriet Walentowski, of Pelican Lake, died Sunday, June 3, 2018, at her home under the care of Ministry Hospice and her family. She was 87 years old. She was born on July 31, 1930, in Chicago, IL a daughter of the late Teofel and Sophie (Draski) Urban. She married Robert Walentowski in December 1967 in Rhinelander. He preceded her in death on February 23, 2007.
Harriet enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing the saxophone and clarinet, trips to the casino and cooking. She was a Milwaukee Brewer and Green Bay Packer fan.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary (Jeff) Brendemuehl and Julie (Mike) Novak; a son, Edward (Ann) Mas all of Jennings; five grandchildren, Ann (Bob) Schmidt, Luke and Jaxon Brendemuehl, Trevor and Hunter Novak; three great-grandchildren, Kolton, Evan and Hannah Schmidt; two step-grandchildren, Amber Olroyd and Pete (Brandy) Olroyd; two step great-grandchildren, Ryder and Adair Olroyd; two brothers, Ted Urban of Florida and Thomas (Theda) Urban of Rhinelander; and a sister, Sally Urban of Rhinelander.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Victoria Ball, Lottie Loendorf and Sophie Karasak.

will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Zimmerman officiating. Burial will take place in Forest Home Cemetery in the Town of Schoepke. Visitation will be Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
