Mr. Anniston "Dook" Trammell, the son of the late Jack and Jennie Bell Davidson Trammell was born April 6, 1922 in Harris County, GA. Our heavenly father called him home on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at his residence.
Anniston accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior joined the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Joe Fitzpatrick.
"Dook" attended the Tenth Street School. He was employed with West Point Foundry and Machine Shop with 21 years of service until his retirement in 1987.
He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed working in his lawn. He enjoyed working around the house, until his health failed.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mamie L. Wright, Martha Hutchinson, 7 brothers, his twin, Addis Trammell, Sr., Ralph Trammell, Lee Trammell Joe Trammell, Sr., Charles Trammell, Sr., John Trammell, and Alfred Trammell.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: a dedicated and devote wife of 58 years, Betty A. (Sands) Trammell, West Point, GA; two daughters, Francine(Eulace) Billingslea, Waverly Hall, GA; Jennie .
