Jeannette Ducote Pugnali, 89, a resident of Highland, NY for over 70 years, passed away Saturday night May 19, 2018 at Vassar Hospital in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
Born July 16, 1928 in New York City she was the daughter of Louis Whitney and Helen Patterson Ducote. She was married to Harry Pugnali and had a long happy life. She is survived by her son Steven Pugnali, and her stepfamily Jayne Pugnali and Marie and Chris Villa.
In addition, she is survived by a granddaughter Lindsay D. Rozman and her husband Michael C. Rozman, Anthony Michael Pugnali, Matthew James Pugnali and several other grand and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Louis Ducote, her sisters Bertha Dalbo and Susanne Manning and was predeceased by her sister Annette Connolly. Of her many beloved nieces and nephews, her nephew William Smith was always a special part of her life.

rican Legion Auxiliary. She also volunteered for the Girl Scouts of America with her dear friend Rena Hill.
A gathering for family and friends will take place on Wednesday, May 23rd from 9am to 11am at the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 38 Main St. Highland, NY 12528. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation 11:30am at Saint Augustine Roman Catholic Church in Highland. Burial will follow in Saint Charles Cemetery in Gardiner.
