Mary enjoyed reading cookbooks, handwriting recipes, and ensuring all visitors were well fed. Her hobbies included gardening, tending to her raspberry patch, and fellowship with friends and family. Mary's greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Mary died on Monday, June 18, 2018, at the Titonka Care Center at the age of 90. Survivors include her daughter, Donna (Larry) Hovey of Northwood; son, Daniel (Kimberly) Eden of Wesley; daughter, Linda (David) Hurlburt of Lone Rock; and son, Daryl (Joanne) Eden of Titonka; ten grandchildren: Nicholas (Chelsea) Hovey of West Liberty; Isaac Hovey of Northwood; Sarah (Tanner) Miller and their children Sophie and Omer of Hampton; Hilary (Jonathon) Humphrey and their children Ryan, Katelyn, Graysen and Eden of North Liberty; Casey (Nicole) Hurlburt of Ames; Zackary Hurlburt of Lone Rock; Danielle and Freddie Eden of Wesley; Levi and Cole Eden of Titonka; and sister, Mary (Foxen) Coleman of Kansas City, Kansas. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don of 52 years; son, Dennis Eden; granddaughter, Ashley Hovey; four brothers, Robert, Francis, Leo and Don Foxen; and two sisters, Delores Hemann and Alice Wilkins.
