Jacquline Lue Elliott, age 63, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 15, 2018, after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Jackie was born in Charleston, West Virginia to Rex Duncan and Barbara McCormick on July 24, 1954. She went to Dexter High School in Michigan and graduated in 1972. Jackie moved to Florida in 1984 to be surrounded by the sun and sandy beaches that she loved more than anything. She worked for Tropicana where she retired from in 2015 after devoting 28 years and many countless hours. Jackie truly lived life to the fullest, enjoying time at the beach, going to rock concerts, spending time with her grandchildren, dogs and most of all going to NFL football games where she was a 10-year ticket holder for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jackie was always the life of the party and she truly loved all her family and friends near and far.
Jackie is survived by her two loving daughters Shannon (Chris) and Shawn (Chris) her four beautiful grandchildren- Alexis, Kodey, Gabrielle, and Kasey and her siblings Johnna, Marty, Vernon and Kim and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Shannon and Shawn will be having an intimate gathering with immediate family on the water where they will be releasing her ashes into the ocean, as per her final wishes. At that time heaven will receive another angle. As this is an obvious sad occasion, we know Jackie would want everyone to enjoy themselves, have fun, rock on and go Bucs- so that's what we will do!! May she rest easy now and forever in peace.
