e all, spend time with her family. Laureen ardently loved her family and always put them first. In spite of being diagnosed with a rare disease in 2015, her spirit remained strong as she continued to work, visit the beach, and take trips to see her children. She was vibrant, witty, warm, intellectually curious, and, above all, always kind. In May of 2016, she was elated by the birth of her grandchild, Finnegan, and focused much of her energy on being an amazing grandmother. Laureen is preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Smith. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Mitch; three children, Jim(Katie), Kyle(Michelle), and Laura; one grandchild, Finnegan; her mother, Eileen Smith; two sisters, Pat(Eddie) Clark and Joy(David) Fandrich; and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
