Erie Dois (Strickland) Dykes, 91 of Hattiesburg, Mississippi passed away on June 24, 2018.
She was born on April 4, 1927 to Ima Pearl and Eddie Vaughn Strickland of Sylvarena, Mississippi. She attended Millsap College, Jackson, Mississippi. She was retired from Ellisville State School and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ellisville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ima Pearl and Eddie Vaughn Strickland, her husband, John Henry Dykes, two sisters, Billie Annis and Rachel Craft, three sons, Keith Dykes, Billy Jack Dykes and John Harlon Dykes, one granddaughter Kay Dykes, one nephew Robert Strickland.

Funeral services will be held at Memory Chapel. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 28th and the service will follow at 3 p.m. at the Chapel. Interment will be at Ellisville Cemetery. Rev. Howard Parker and Rev. Luke Johnson will officiate.
