For many years he would enjoy taking long cross-country road trips with his mother and brother, and of course, a week at the Iowa State Fair was always a must event each year. Don was preceded in death by his father Paul in 1970, mother Hazel in 2009 and brother Paul L. Waldron in 2004. He is survived by his siblings; Murrell (Carol) Waldron of Spencer, Iowa, Beverly J. Nelson of Harris, Iowa, Daryl (Robyn) Waldron of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Gerald (Beatrice) Waldron of Coin, Iowa and Jerry L. Waldron of Shenandoah, Iowa, and many, many nieces and nephews. Don would continue to live with his little brother in the tiny round roof house on North Webster Street for 81/2 more years until his sudden death on the morning of July 2, 2018. Celebration of life funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Hackett-Livingston Funeral Home in Shenandoah. Visitation with the family will be held from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Hackett-Livingston Funeral Home in Shenandoah. Burial will be held at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Shenandoah. Memorials may be directed to the Peace Lutheran Church of Shenandoah.
