ader of the Ames Jolly Clovers 4-H Club and was a poll worker on Election Days. Esther was active in Bethesda Lutheran Church where she taught Bethel Bible classes. Throughout her life she enjoyed playing piano, visiting with friends and family, mall walking, and volunteering her time. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Tami Kuhn of Nevada, Iowa and Kristi Kuhn of Papillion, Nebraska; her brother, Floyd (Joan) Benson of Waukee; her sister, Agnes (Bernie) Andreasen of Grand Island, Nebraska; and sister-in-law, Ann (Eddie) Benson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy; one sister, Audrey (Benson) Nygren, and seven brothers: Carl, Albin, Verner, Clarence Harold, Eddie, and Elmer. Memorial contributions may be given to Bethesda Lutheran Church in Ames or Hillcrest Hospice (not tax deductible) in Bellevue, Nebraska.
