Steve also loved betting on sports games with friends and family. His last bet was with his son on the College World Series; one his son was happy to lose. Steve is survived by his wife of 32 years: Cindy Meyer of Mason City; 2 children: Nicole Meyer of Blue Springs, MO and Cody Meyer and fiancée McKenzie Mariner of Mason City; grand dogs: Tico and Maya; brother: Robert Meyer and wife Brenda of Hampton, IA; brothers and sisters-in-law: Jean Rood of Mason City, Anthony Brass and wife Lavina of Mason City, Mike Brass and wife Mickey of Rudd, IA, Marge Steines and husband Frank of Des Moines, IA, Don Brass and wife Opal of Rockwell, IA, Richard Brass of Forest City, IA and Patty Brass of Rockwell, IA. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
