s a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where his ready smile was a reflection of his love for Jesus. He served in various opportunities: for the Sunday School program, as elder in the congregation and long-time member of the Adult Choir and Life Care Bible study groups.

Fritz and Chris celebrated 50 years of marriage before she died, and six years later, he met and married Rosanna Bruere of Fort Worth, who also preceded him in death in 2008. After his confinement to skilled nursing at Trinity Terrace Retirement Center, he was faithfully served by dear friends and members of St. Paul who brought him news, recorded sermons, bulletins, communion and devotions and Phoebe, the comfort dog. His mental sharpness was truly amazing as he learned to use the computer to stay connected to family and friends . As the oldest member of St. Paul, he was enthusiastic about his personal email ministry encouraging college students.

The family thanks the care providers at Trinity Terrace Retirement and Rehabilitation Center and Alpha and Omega Hospice. He lived an inspiring and kind life for 103 years and considered each day a gift from the Lord.

Fritz was preceded in death by his daughter, Peggy Hardt.
Survivors: His daughter, Emilie Vincent and son-in-law, Mike Vincent; grandchildren, Eric (Jessica), Meredith (Matt) and Lauren (Mark); great-grandchildren, Owen, Gavin, Natalia and Leah; son-in-law, Tom Hardt; granddaughter, Janelle Wood; great-grandchildren, Kayla and Adam Wood and nieces and nephews; Rosanna's daughter, Lisa Bruere and son Bob (Pam).
