re fighter husband and four daughters. She was active in the Orchard View fund raising events, and work diligently to help procure Orchard View's own High School. Ruth was a diehard O.V. Cardinal, as well as, an avid Detroit Tiger's Fan. Ruth enjoyed travel and bravely went all the way to the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, of course that wasn't the highlight of her trip. The best part of her trip was buying a new pair of shoes that were created at one of the local artisan shops on the streets of Paris. so, Mom, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, the worst is now behind you, from now on you will never face discomfort, disappointment, or loss again. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 12 noon Monday, July 9, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100. VISITATION with the family will be Sunday, from 6-8 PM and 1 hour prior to the service on Monday, from 11AM-12PM. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
