Fay Killen, 83, of Commerce City, Colorado, passed away on July 6, 2018 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Fay was born in Ouray, Colorado on April 2, 1935, to George and Bertha (Brumfield) Wallis. She graduated from Olathe High School in 1953. Fay married James N. Killen in Olathe, Colorado on July 27, 1956. To the marriage were born three children; Cindy, Brian and Richard.
In 1971, the family moved to Thornton, Colorado from Olathe. Fay worked for the Key People Company in Lakewood, Colorado for over twenty years, retiring in 2008, as the Vice President of the company.
Fay was known for her wit, work ethic, cooking and as a loving grandmother who never met a stranger. Fay was a sports fan, especially when it came to cheering for her grandchildren. A very protective person, she loved her animals, especially her poodles.
Fay was known as a woman of faith. She was a member of The Orchard Church and was a "Prayer Warrior" for all. Fay was known to have a great interest in Facebook and it was said that she knew as much about fantasy football as she did the bible.
