Rebecca J. Sale

Rebecca J. Sale, 69, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, July 6, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo, of natural causes. She was born Oct. 15, 1948, in Des Moines, daughter of Ralph and Zorah Pieret Pender. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor's degree and a master's in education degree. She worked for Area Education Agency 7 as a consultant strategist for several years, until retiring. She attended Nazareth Lutheran Church. Survivors: two sons, Jeffrey Sale of New York, N.Y., and Dan (Erin) Sale of Waterloo; a granddaughter, Ellery Sale of Cedar Falls; her mother of Cedar Falls; and a brother, Jeff Pender of Cedar Falls.
