any in 1970, retiring in 1992. He was a member of St. Mary's since 1958 and then Prince of Peace Parish when it opened. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, telling jokes and traveling. They took many trips most notable an Alaskan Cruise and traveling to Costa Rica and Hawaii. Most of all he loved time spent with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife Bernice Weideman of Clinton; two sons: Kenneth Weideman, Sr. of Davenport and Steve Weideman of Clinton; four grandchildren: Kenneth Weideman, Jr., Thomas Weideman, Mary Weideman and Jennifer Dolph; three great grandchildren: Elizabeth and Chloe Weideman and Kayleigh Rodgers; three siblings: Pauline Webb of Morrison, Georgia Schaver of Morrison, and Alfred Doty of Clinton; one step sister: Evelyn Dodds of Bettendorf, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, infant son, three brothers, two sisters, three step-sisters and two step-brothers.
