helor's in Accounting. He began working for Rockwell Collins, retiring after over 30 years in 1994. Dick was a lifetime member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, and participated in many of the church activities. He belonged to the Sons of Norway and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. Dick enjoyed gardening flowers, raking, spending time outdoors--especially in the woods, watching birds, and spending time with his pets. He loved taking his family on vacations, especially to the cabin on the Wapsipinicon River. He was a generous and giving person, had a great sense of humor, and an optimistic mentality that everyone enjoyed. Dick cherished the time he spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, Sarah; infant daughter; son, Robert "Bob"; brother, Jack; nephew, John; and in-laws, Phyllis Lilledahl, and Walt and Anita "Cookie" Strong.
