David Francis Wilgenbusch, 64, Cedar Rapids, died at his home on July 12, 2018. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, at St. Jude Catholic Church by Rev. Mark Murphy. Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery. A Vigil Service will be held 4 p.m., Monday at Teahen Funeral Home where friends may visit with the family Monday from 4 to 7 p.m., and Tuesday after 9 a.m. at the church.
Dave is survived by sons, Gary (Rochelle) of Grimes and Eric of Waterloo; grandchildren, Kennedy and Emersyn; brothers, Charles (Paula) of Ryan, Mark (Dee) of Charles Town, WV, Leon of Manchester, and Patrick of Masonville; sisters, Joyce (Dave) Hoover of Carol Stream, IL and Margaret (Eugene) Palmersheim of Greeley; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vicki in 2001; his parents; brothers, Paul and Gerald, and sister, Judy Martin.
Dave was born on September 28, 1953 in Manchester, son of Emil and Helen Goedken Wilgenbusch, and graduated in 1971 from West Delaware High School, Manchester. On June 16, 1984 he married Vicki Ann Backen in Cedar Rapids. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
