Eileen Pauly, 98, formerly of 2035 Delaware St., passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Stonehill Care Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 23, at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Rev. Steven Rosonke will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may greet the family from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 22, at Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3860 Asbury Road, where there will be a prayer service at 4 p.m.
Eileen was born September 15, 1919 in Iowa, the daughter of William and Mamie (Klein) Lammer. She married Ralph G. Pauly Sr. in St. Joseph, Missouri. He preceded her in death in 1968.
Eileen's faith was very important to her, and she was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She was employed for 25 years at the Dubuque Packing Company. Eileen loved to stay active, golfing, walking everywhere she could, square dancing, and taking trips to the casino. Eileen is survived by her daughter, Pam (Wayne) Kilburg of Dubuque; her daughter in law, Jeannine Pauly of Dubuque; her grandchildren, Christian (Jolynn) Kilburg of DeWitt, IA, Craig (Mia) Kilburg of Jacksonville, FL, Laura (James) Pauly-Sievers of Kieler, WI and their children, Alyssa, Ryan, Olivia, and Xander, and David (Roxanna) Pauly of Iowa City, IA and their daughter Scarlett.
Eileen was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Ralph Pauly Jr. in 2005; her siblings; and her in-laws.
