Louis James Civale, 87, born September 15th, 1930 in the Bronx, New York, to Luigi and Rachel Civale.
At a young age, Louis served as a Military Police Officer in the U.S. Army. He was stationed in Germany, where he met Anna. They fell in love, got married and Louis brought Anna back to the United States; where they started a family and purchased a home in Staten Island. Having worked for Eastman Kodak for 35 years, Louis was promoted to manager, and in 1977 moved his family to Hollywood, Florida. In 1984 Louis retired from Kodak and started up his own document imaging company, American Micro Image, in Coral Gables. Thirteen years later Louis sold the company and decided to retire to spend his golden years with his love of 70 years, Anna. They travelled, attended church and enjoyed dining out.
Louis was predeceased by his parents (Luigi and Rachel) and his brothers (Thomas and Benjamin).
He is survived by his sister, Gloria; wife Anna; children Louise, Michael, Mary, Louis, John and Lisa; grandchildren Michelle, Ann-Marie, Joseph, Laura, Jennifer, Michael, Christopher, Michael, Robert, Ryan, Randal, Melissa and Anthony; 19 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

iewing will be held at Fred Hunter on Thursday, 5-7pm and a Mass at Nativity Catholic Church on Friday at 11:00AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
